New Century Market has reasonable price. I highly recommend to visit the market. S & S PARADISE sweet treats & Savory kitchen: you must try their homemade baked goods (pesto pasta, bagels, muffins, sandwiches, etc..

I love the selection of Korean and Chinese products available in this store. I also love the ice cream selection they have too. They even have those fruit ice creams that went in viral a few years back like the mango and peach. They even had lemon one too. The employees are very kind as well. Very talkative and welcoming.

A few months ago, we bought Bibigo Kimchi Dumplings and upon getting home realized they were expired. We took them back and the staff was apologetic and gave us a free drink as an apology. When I got home, I was about to drink it when I saw the drink was also expired. I saw some of the reviews from a few months ago also pointed out that there were expired products on the shelves. I don't know about the others but the Kimchi Dumplings we had got were expired almost a year already. Since there were so many reviews from months ago, I thought maybe the store would've fixed the problem. I went in, bought all of my products and double checked the expiration dates - all good. Except I've opened up my Mommy Boss mild Kimchi that doesn't expire until September of this year and there is mold all in the top and along the rim of the container. Staff is always kind and helpful but that really doesn't matter when they are selling bad food. There is a sort of odd scent in the air as well that isn't exactly pleasant. I don't think they are paying attention to their stock or storing their food properly.

Took my mom to buy her maza to make tamales today. It's maza preparada from La Amapola. She'd normally drive to Maywood to get it so this was conveniently nearby. We met the owner who was super nice and helpful. They make specialty coffees so I ordered an iced caramel espresso and it was delicious while we shopped. They carry bread from Old Town Bakery which is amazing so I picked up a loaf of jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread and bagels. They sell tamales which we tried and were impressed! So glad we found this market, they have everything and prices are affordable.

They have a good selection even with some aisles still empty. Had a good experience with the items I purchased. However some of the employees made my time there welcoming and were helpful. Others were following me around making sure I didn’t take anything, once I went to pay for my items I felt harassed by an older lady who was blocking me in and stood very close to make sure I didn’t steal anything. Unfortunately as much as I did like this store I will not be going back, I felt very discriminated against.
